It makes sense that it should happen this way...that the sky should break, and the earth should shake

what's going on?

so stacey and i had a pseudo-datenight tonight. at 6:30 i pressured stacey into seeing a movie. so we went to the "dollar-fitty" theater to see the producers starring matthew broderick and nathan lane. good times were to be had. it was a fun flick.

since i've gotten a new computer in our office, i have been far more productive. but my productivity suffers at night, because i want to do work around here too. sooner or later we had to clean up.

it looks like mom might be paying us a visit over her spring break. that'll be fun for us and relaxing for her. but before that, we're talking about doing some traveling on our own. we'll probably be taking our spring break to either go visit stacey's folks or to go visit the grand canyon. since i led a sheltered youth, i'm trying to throw off those surly bonds and enjoy life.

i'm having lunch with a friend tomorrow. we're going to hit the "danny's bbq". excellent food will be eaten. i'm looking forward to it.

we've had some water issues. all the sudden, the water started tasting funny. we also noticed that somehow we had killed off a bamboo stalk. that's too bad. so we're getting it tested out (supposedly) sometime tomorrow. they didn't call today, so we'll just have to see.

i'm preaching on 2/5. i can't figure out what to preach on. should it namby-pamby or hell-fire and brimstone? just kidding. but however the lesson turns out, whenever some asks me how it went, i'll always respond (ala ray stevens) "well, we all got rebaptized whether we needed it or not and had 300 volunteer for a mission in the congo on the spot."
