what's the sitch, jon?

well, i went back on my ra (research assistantship) this semester and consequently got moved back into my old office. another computer (good linux box, not a sucky sun workstation) will be moved back in here. i probably won't lug this laptop around with me everywhere i go from here on out even though it's not so heavy anyways.

tonight we're going out to supper (or dinner as some would say, regardless the 3rd meal of the day) with some friends at the chili's. i haven't been there in forever. i'm looking forward to it. it's always good to hang out with friends.

we started cleaning up some of our upstairs rooms that have kinda gotten pushed down the list of things to clean. the closet in the "office" got cleaned out last night and books were placed on the bookshelf. how nice.

i started a (get this) personal evangelism class at church. it's really nice and has been helping me to study and ask some questions again which i probably would have glossed over. i think i mentioned several posts ago that my goal is to read the Bible through this year. the link i'm following for a schedule is http://www.backtothebible.org/devotions/journey/readme.htm?level=together. so far i'm about to knock out Gensis and am working on Matthew.

tomorrow i'm going to the rbc center to watch nc state play the wake forest demon deacons. after the duke loss wed. night i'm sure they'll play well. go pack!

as part of gift money, etc. i purchased the star trek: voyager season 7 dvd set. i'm going to get some trek on! i'll probably get just a little more trek on today while stacey is walking with another friend of ours. i'm getting all trekked out.
