update

wow. we have a lot of catching up to do.

for starters, we went to chattanooga earlier this month. we visited the tennessee aquarium (best aquarium yet!), went to sticky fingers for lunch, and then to the mall. chattanooga is a nice town. we'll be going back.

we went in to visit my family on president's day weekend and managed to get stuck inside the house for about two days because of the snow. at the height of it all, there might have been three inches on the ground, but the driveway at my parents' house is on a hill, so we would have never made it back up. we did manage to get out and go to asian buffet (best chinese ever!) for lunch one day.

in other news, i was involved in a minor accident on the way home from the lab a couple weeks ago...totally not my fault. no one was hurt, but the car is in the shop for the next two weeks getting fixed. in all, it has about $2500 in damage.
