nashville, etc

the seventh grade took a field trip to nashville on tuesday. we went to the hermitage, the parthenon, and the state capitol. it was a lot of fun though i got tired of telling the students to stop touching the original wallpaper in the hermitage. the students seemed to learn a lot. after all they asked questions like "why do you talk so fast?" to one of the tour guides at the hermitage.

so i have had a cold for about two weeks now. i was almost over it until i woke up this morning with a 101 degree fever. not much fun.

one more week until spring break!
