so right now we are at the grand canyon! happy day! we flew into los angeles on friday, rented a car, and drove out to surprise, az (near phoenix). i hadn't seen my sister in two years, and so we stayed with her that night and got to catch up. they have such a beautiful house! anyway, we left early on saturday morning (we = me, jon, carrie) and drove to the grand canyon, stopping in sedona to see the red rocks. jon had never seen the grand canyon, and i hadn't seen it since heather and i took a roadtrip the summer after we graduated from high school. so we've taken a ton of pictures, and will take a few more this morning. later on today we'll head back to surprise by way of sedona, and will get to have dinner with fernando (carrie's husband - he was working this weekend so he couldn't come). and then on monday morning we are driving out to los angeles to spend a week with my grandparents.
