spring break
so we had a pretty exciting spring break. we spent a few days in the st. louis area where we went to see rent at the fox. some of the highlights were the usher arguing with the people two rows up about who had the correct tickets and who did not during the first couple scenes as well as the girls behind us who were either singing or crying throughout the entire show. not to mention that the ushers continued seating people after the show began. if you can't get there on time, you should be seated at intermission.
we then drove to surf city, nc (about 30 minutes north of wilmington) where some of my family had rented a beach house. we toured poplar grove plantation, the burgwin-wright house, the uss north carolina, airlie gardens, and the nc aquarium at ft. fisher. i think we're planning to head back to the gardens in june when everything is in bloom.
