a week in tx

we've been having lots of fun in tx. it's been lots of work, but it's been enjoyable. stacey has been helping her mom unpack a bunch of boxes. i've been helping her dad do all kinds of woodwork. we've built shelves and put trim up around rooms.

we've been having all kinds of fun with fam. we eat pretty frequently with stacey's mema and papa. there's typically so much food, that i'm pretty sure i've become.....healthier. i think i ate 7 eggs yesterday for breakfast.

we saw the new pirates flick on sunday. it was entertaining, but i wasn't blown away. (i won't ruin it for everyone reading who hasn't seen the flick.)

so stacey's parents live just off a rural highway (standard two-lane found everywhere). it has a 70 mph speed limit. if that's not crazy enough, people pass you on the right. so, if you're waiting to turn left, people might pass you on the right. at one point, we got passed on the right and left. freaky texan drivers. (those were comments spawned by andy's blog.)
